Duncan Barrow FInSTR GIFireE
Duncan is a highly accomplished Fire and Rescue professional with over 33 years’ experience, retiring after 30 years service with Norfolk Fire and Rescue as a Station Manager. Duncan is a National Tactical Advisor for Urban Search and Rescue and Level 2 Incident Commander, holding an impressive cadre of instructor qualifications including breathing apparatus, rope rescue, urban search and rescue, compartment fire behaviour and water rescue.
Soon after retiring, Duncan became the Operations Manager for an international training college in Malta, spending time in the Middle East before returning home to the UK. Duncan also has experience as a Rescue Swimmer in the Aegean Sea, Technical Rescue Instructor in Bosnia and is an education specialist for United Kingdom Rescue Organisation, alongside Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue.
