Overview
This informative course has been developed to fulfill the competency requirements of the National Occupational Standards, and NHS EPRR Framework. From the theoretical knowledge delivery through TIQN’s Virtual Learning Platform, developing their skills and knowledge to a higher standard, evolving their understanding of the major incident framework, reviewing their current organisational practices. They will learn about coordinating multiple resources in cross functional teams to achieve maximum effectiveness, learning about their roles and responsibilities within Tactical Coordinating Groups. They will further develop this knowledge through immersive practical ‘live play’ exercises.
How is this course assessed?
Learners will complete a range of theory assessments as short answer questions to test their theoretical knowledge and application. Followed by a range of practical assessments and skills tests to demonstrate attainment of knowledge.
Entry Requirements & Minimum Age
Learners must be 18 years of age (or older) on the first day of the course.
Should be deemed medically cleared in line with organisations Occupational Health Provider
Learners should be proficient in English language both spoken, written and reading.
Degree level education, equivalent professional qualifications and/or demonstrable experience in a similar role or setting
Learners will need to have minimum core skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT skills to successfully complete the qualification.
Who might this be suitable for?
This course is aimed at those who may undertake duties in a command role, usually retaining tactical/ silver level management. Working as part of a multi-agency team, either in a Command Cell, or with a more operational approach.

Successful learners will receive a personalised
