Overview 

This informative course has been developed to fulfill the competency requirements of the National Occupational Standards, and NHS EPRR Framework.

From the theoretical knowledge delivery through TIQN’s Virtual Learning Platform, learners will develop skills in the Joint Emergency Service Interoperability Principles, industry best practice, loggist responsibilities, principles of decision making and legislation, before participating in face to face sessions to learn the skill of completing incident and decision logs both hand written and digitalised.

How is this course assessed?

Learners will complete a range of theory assessments through short answer questions to test their theoretical knowledge and application. Followed by two practical assessments/ skills tests.

Entry Requirements & Minimum Age

Learners must be 18 years of age (or older) on the first day of teaching.

Should be deemed medically cleared in line with organisations Occupational Health Provider

Learners should be proficient in English language both spoken, written and reading.

Learners will need to have minimum core skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT skills to successfully complete the qualification.

Who might this be suitable for?

This course is aimed at those who, during an incident, may undertake the role of a Decision Loggist, working as part of a larger incident management team. They may also provide additional support across the incident, such as administration and welfare.

Certification

Successful learners will receive a personalised e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions.
